Arby’s Supports UNL’s FRESH Approach to Education

As a sponsor for Usher’s New Look youth leadership program for several years, Arby’s and the Arby’s Foundation have not only donated meals for UNL’s national Leadership Academy students, but also provided a host of CAREER sparking experiences for UNL students middle school through college. From leadership trainings, to one-on-one job shadow opportunities, even paid summer internships, when it comes to preparing the next generation to be leaders, Arby’s understands that fresh and innovative programs like UNL are what’s needed to SPARK the next Gen of global youth leaders.

This week, for example, Arby’s will sponsor an Usher’s New Look Powered by Service Leadership Training for over 200 students at Douglass High School in Atlanta, GA. The Powered by Service program uses a relevant peer-to-peer delivery style, combined with an emphasis on technology and culture to make education, career, leadership and service more appealing and attainable to teens. Each student who completes UNL’s Powered by Service training receives a Local Leadership Certification backed by Emory Goizueta Business School.
