Detroit Volunteers at Focus HOPE Food Packing Center

On Tuesday, five members of New Look Detroit collaborated with 13 members from Detroit’s BuildOn after school program to volunteer at the Focus HOPE Food Packing Center. Founded forty-five years ago, HOPE has grown to become a nationally renowned civil and human rights organization diligently working to bridge the racial divide in southeast Michigan through their Food program, Career training programs, and the HOPE Village Initiative, which is a program committed to supporting academic achievement of children living in the neighborhoods around the campus. New Look Detroit will be partnering with BuildOn once a month to collaborate on a service project. Great team work!
