New Look Atlanta Walks in Downtown MLK Day Parade

“I have a dream, that one day everyone in the world will be Powered by Service,” said Taliyah, a New Look Atlanta Academy youth at yesterday’s Martin Luther King Day parade in Atlanta. Atlanta coordinator James Harris, Academy students, MITs and New Look staff came out to honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. by spreading New Look’s spirit of service while marching in a parade through the streets of downtown Atlanta. Thousands of onlookers lined the streets. Marching alongside other youth activist groups, all New Look participants sported their New Look shirts while chanting,

“It’s New Look and we’re gonna make a difference! Powered by Service and we’re handling our business! Using our talents and leadership skills, we’re gonna make a difference and we’re keeping it real! I am, Powered by Service! You are, Powered by Service!”

The energy of the parade was incredible. We are looking forward to walking again in next year’s parade with even more New Lookers who are Powered by Service! Check out the clip from the parade below.
