New Look's Leadership Certification

In 2011, Emory University’s Goizueta Business School agreed to support The New Look Foundation’s leadership training model by validating the certifications New Look gives to the youth who complete its programs. The three certification levels, based on current leadership and youth engagement research models, provide young people with a holistic set of skills and experiences to ensure their success as leaders throughout the world.

Local Leadership Certification Through peer to peer training youth develop critical thinking, communication and self-assessment skills that allow them to address the root of LOCAL issues plaguing their communities.

National Leadership Certification Youth learn about personal goal setting, gain project management skills and practice mobilizing their peers to solve community issues on a NATIONAL level.

International Leadership Certification Youth learn how to develop strategic partnerships, compare and contrast cultures, and scale innovation to change major issues on an INTERNATIONAL level. Youth who complete all levels of certification gain a holistic set of skills and experiences they need to ensure their success as leaders throughout the world.
