LAKELAND — The purpose of Friday’s Sm(ART) Business Symposium is to educate business leaders about the role creative industries play in economic development.
And that starts with helping instill a bit of self-awareness.
“There are businesses in the creative industry sector that don’t even realize they’re creative industries,” said Meri Mass, executive director of Polk Arts Alliance, citing graphic design as an example.
