Usher’s New Look® (UNL) is a unique 10-year leadership program that develops under-resourced youth during their formative years to set them up for a lifetime of success. From the 8th grade through college, we work with young people to find their spark (passion), develop their whole person and finish their education, while being of service. Our three core programs are designed to empower students to lead at different stages of their lives and reward them a Leadership Certification backed by Emory University.

We’re working to empower the next generation of DISRUPTIVATORS—a person who uses her, his, or their spark to change the world in an innovative and disruptive way.

This four-year, 400-hour training program challenges high school students in our Four Leadership Pillars; Talent, Education, Career and Service. Students are educated on how to use their spark to be of service nationally. This program works to ensure every student graduates from high school and empowers them to have agency over their journey.

We’re expanding our Leadership Academy, making the programming, resources, and opportunities of Usher’s New Look^® available to high school youth across the country. Youth will have access to on-demand virtual sessions and follow-up activities that will help them develop leadership skills, take actionable steps towards their futures, embrace the power of being in service to their communities, and become a part of a larger community of Disruptivators!
